There is one main trait that allows you to easily spot the bandwagon fan. That would be the "Goalie Bashing" trait. After a loss in a game, no matter what team, they always show up. They jump of the cliff as fast as possible to blame the whole game on their goalie. Of course the goalies made a mistake or two, their only human. But, let's remember. They are the last line of defense. There are five guys in front of them whose job it is to shut a team down before they get to the net. Whose job it is not to make stupid passes or turn the puck over in the neutral zone for a quick 3 on 2 or 2 on 1. When mistakes or just simply bad plays happen elsewhere on the ice it is inevitable that your goalie will be tested.
The reason I know these are bandwagon fans is because they couldn't explain any of my previous statements to you. They literally have nothing else to say but to blame their goaltender. Call for his head, fire him or bench him. All I ask is that if you are going to watch the game then comment on it, watch the entire game and comment on the entire game. Learn the game. Make a conscious decision to talk about the goaltender last in your conversation. That way you'll realize what happened in front of him. If you can't do that then I'm sure none of your teams or real fans of your teams will miss you if you just stop watching and take your stupidity elsewhere. I know I won't.
